At Pendle Hill Properties, we've always believed in supporting the communities we're lucky enough to work in.
Whether it's sponsoring local clubs, supporting young talent or getting behind community events, we're always looking for ways to give something back. So, when the opportunity came up to become the live stream sponsor for Padiham Cricket Club, it was an easy decision.
It helps that two of our own are already part of the club.
Our Sales Director, Tom, and Lettings Director, Toby, both play for Padiham Cricket Club, so there's already a real connection between the club and the team here at Pendle Hill Properties. We've spent plenty of weekends watching from the boundary, celebrating wins (and occasionally talking about the odd dropped catch on a Monday morning!).
Being able to support the club in a way that allows even more people to follow the action felt like the perfect fit.
The live stream means family members who can't make the game, supporters away on holiday and former players can still keep up with everything happening throughout the season. Grassroots sport is such a big part of our local communities, and it's great to see clubs embracing ways of bringing more people together.
As a local business, we're proud to be involved.
We know just how much goes into running a cricket club. From the volunteers preparing the ground to the people behind the scenes organising fixtures, teas and everything in between, it's those individuals who keep clubs like Padiham going year after year.
If our sponsorship helps the club continue to grow while making matchdays more accessible for supporters, then that's something we're really pleased to be part of.
