Halloween can be great fun for children, with dressing up encouraged, and treats along the way! Anyone looking for a fun activity to do with their under 12’s this half term can join in the Trick or Treat Trail in Padiham town centre, running between Monday 23rd and Saturday 28th October.
The Trick or Treat Trail is running in 27 shops all down the main road in Padiham, and sponsored by local estate agent Pendle Hill Properties. A printed form has been sent to all local schools and will be available in the shops, and children have a week over half term to collect 10 stamps from the shops to enter a free prize draw.
When the children have 10 stamps, they need to post their entry in the door at Padiham Town Hall. The top prize is £100 in Padiham Shopping Vouchers donated by Padiham Town Council, second prize is a Family Meal for Four at The Lawrence Hotel, and third prize a Sweetie Hamper donated by Pendle Hill Properties.
Andrew Turner of Pendle Hill Properties said: “Our logo includes a Pendle Witch so we like to do something fun for children over Halloween. I wish all the children best of luck with their entry, and look forward to seeing everyone in Padiham dressed up and having fun!”
